The Banff Centre + CAMIBAart + Kleindorf Art

My first three weeks at The Banff Centre have been wonderful!  So far, I have completed a lot of process work focused on analyzing the planar geometry of the Canadian Rockies.  The unique stratigraphy of the mountains has inspired a new way of thinking about layers and connections within my current body of work.  I will be adding more photos of my work as my process develops, so stay tuned!

A postmodernist style of painting that began in the early twenty-first century.  Techno Pop aims to express the contradictory nature of surface by employing painting hacks.  Aesthetically, it combines the visual elements of cyber culture, geometry, perspective, and brightness to create sensory delights that may exist in multiple spatiotemporal contexts.
